Presentation of President George Washington Portrait
James Island Lodge No. 396, AFM of SC, purchased a George Washington Portrait through the Grand Lodge,
Ancient Free Masons of South Carolina with the intention of presenting it to a worthy local organization, school or group.
The Craft voted to present it to the Camp Road Middle School on James Island. The presentation was made on Monday,
May 16, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Mr. David Parler, Principal of Camp Road Middle School accepted it on behalf of the students.
Representing James Island Lodge (right to left) was RWB Dick Hughes, PDDGM our Worshipful Master; Brother Martin Scarbrough
our Junior Warden and WB Ed Bandarovich, PM our Chaplain. It should be noted that the video was produced by the sixth grade
student “film crew” of Camp Road Middle School. The video runs for 3 minutes and 22 seconds. The “film crew” did a nice job!
