Brother Sam Leviner served his country for 21 years as an aircraft engineer in the United States Navy; mainly on EC-121 and C-54 aircraft. Growing up in Florida he entered the Navy in 1955. After his Navy retirement as a Senior Chief Petty Officer, Brother Sam purchased a small farm in Alderson, West Virginia. He was a Life Member of Alderson Lodge No. 70 of Alderson, West Virginia. He is also a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason; becoming a member in 1961. Several years ago he moved to the Summerville area.
Brother Sam passed to be with his Lord and Savior October 12, 2019.
Brother Leviner was unanimously voted an Honorary Member and Brother of James Island Lodge No. 396 on May 7, 2018. Personal presentation at 1050 AM on May 27, 2018 at the Veterans Victory House.
